Step-by-step guides to install and set up your IPTV player on any device.
Install Hot Player on Android TV, Fire Stick, or any Android device using the Downloader app. Takes about 5 minutes.
From the home screen, navigate to Settings (gear icon). On Fire Stick this is in the top navigation bar.
Select My Fire TV (Fire Stick) or Device (Android TV). Then tap Developer Options.
Toggle Apps from Unknown Sources to ON. This allows you to install apps outside the official app store.
Go back to the home screen and open the Amazon App Store (Fire Stick) or Google Play Store (Android TV).
Search for Downloader by AFTVnews. It's a free app with an orange icon. Install it.
Launch the Downloader app. When prompted, tap Allow to grant storage permissions. This is required to save downloaded files.
In the Downloader home screen you'll see a text field. Enter the code below and tap Go.
hotplayer.appThe Downloader app will load the Hot Player website. Look for the Download or Get Hot Player button and click it. The APK file will begin downloading.
Once downloaded, Downloader will automatically prompt you to install. Tap Install and wait for the installation to complete.
After installation, Downloader will ask if you want to delete the APK file. Tap Delete to free up storage space. The app is already installed so you don't need the file anymore.
Find Hot Player in your apps list and open it. On first launch you'll see your MAC Address / Device ID. Write this down or take a photo — you'll need to send it to us.
Send us your MAC ID via Telegram, WhatsApp, or Discord. We'll remotely activate your device and load your playlist — no manual URL entry needed.
Once we confirm your device has been activated remotely, go back to Hot Player and press the Refresh button. Your channels will begin loading automatically.
Your channels are loaded and ready. Browse by category, use the search, or check the EPG guide to see what's on. Enjoy 40,000+ live channels in crystal-clear quality!
